Ben McGillivray not only talks the talk, he has walked the walk. At the age of 18, Ben's weight peaked at 125kg. Through lifestyle changes and learning about nutrition, he managed to lose 55kg, the majority lost over the span of two years. To maintain the weightloss, Ben joined a gym and found his love for exercise, especially weightlifting. He has been exercising consistently ever since.
Ben is well qualified with a Bachelor in Sport & Recreation through the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) plus a Certficate in Sports Training & Development through the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT).
He is a REPS registered exercise professional, which is an assurance to clients that his qualifications meet industry standards, he is CPR and first aid certified, and also undergoes ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest fitness industry developments.
