Throughout the year, BAMFIT clients get to take part in fun events. Gatherings such as the Halloween deadlift party, the HIT challenge, and Papamoa Hills walks can fill up your social calendar and keep you fit at the same time.

I have been going to Bamfit for a couple of years now and have had significant improvement in my health and fitness. I... have signed up for some of the group classes as it gives me an opportunity to get out of the house, meet up with some like minded others in a class. After some arm twisting from my wife, who had already had great results herself, I started going to Ben at Bamfit. I... have lost weight, found some mussels I forgot I had, and my overall fitness and well-being has improved a heap. The aftermath of a large accident left me with many limitations and fears in regard to what I could and could not do. ... Deciding enough of feeling sorry for myself I decided to get Bens help. Ben understands the mechanics of how our bodies works so while a normal exercise might work for the average person, for me he must think outside of the square! Every work out is a challenge for both of us but without fail he successfully manages an awesome work out for me. My flexibility, strength and mental thoughts have improved so much that last summer I swam, went on tramps, and even participated in my 1st 5km walk. Even during lockdown he was motivating us viz zoom and was very creative coming up with new ways to ensure we continued to exercise at home (I might add lots of laughs to be had with some of his group challenges!) Ben is super clever when it comes to motivating you! Ben organises lots of social outings and events and has created a real sense of community and belonging. My 'hitting the wall' moment came after sitting on the couch once again nibbling my way through the 8pm munchies only... to find myself having to shuffle rolls of fat around to be comfortable! I have been with Ben for the last three years and still continue to date. Within this time I have trained 3 times a week, ate very differently under the guidance from Ben......(and I'm a chef)......and lost 25 kgs and most importantly have kept it off. For me this was not going to be quick fix but 100% lifestyle change and for this I am very grateful to Ben and the Bamfit culture within the gym. Thanks Ben.read more
